Heel Pan Kit

The heel pan kit installs in the floor allowing a lower foot position for better rudder and brake control.

The heel pan kit was designed to allow larger pilots to fit into the Husky’s cockpit.

Since the only way to adjust the seat is the use of different seat cushions, larger pilots often complain about insufficient room for their knees to clear the panel. Other complaints of larger pilots are that they can barely step on the rudder without stepping on the brakes.

The heel pan kit solves both problems. For medium-sized pilots, it increases comfort on long flights by allowing the pilot to position the legs in a much better ergonomic position.

The heel pan kit consists of two black Fiberglass pans. These pans are installed into the floorboards, approximately in the position of the original aluminium plates.

The heel pan kit gives tall pilots more knee clearance.
